Radio Landcare

Tom Baker and Margaret Piper have hosted Radio Landcare for many years. Tom has been a member of Queanbeyan Landcare since it started in 1994 and before that he was a member of Trees for Queanbeyan, a Council led committee.  The breath of his knowledge of Landcare’s history in this region and other matters Landcare is extraordinary and is complemented by Margaret another long time Landcarer.

The Radio Landcare show includes a summary of ‘What’s On’ in the Landcare/catchment management community as well as interviews with stakeholders including on-ground volunteers, coordinators, businesses, government and those with scientific and technical backgrounds. Radio Landcare covers issues in both the urban and rural contexts. The show is on every Tuesday from 9am to 10am.
