National Tree Day
Planet Ark's National Tree Day started in 1996 and has grown into Australia's largest community tree planting and nature care event.
Queanbeyan Landcare Monthly Meetings
Held on the first Tuesday of each month in Queanbeyan West. The meetings start at 7.30pm, all are welcome.
Radio Landcare
The Radio Landcare show includes a summary of ‘What’s On’ in the Landcare/catchment management community as well as interviews with stakeholders including on-ground volunteers, coordinators, businesses, government and those with scientific and technical backgrounds. Radio Landcare covers issues in both the urban and rural contexts. The show is on every Tuesday from 9am to 11am.
National Eucalypt Day
Held annually on 23 March, National Eucalypt Day aims to raise awareness of eucalypts and celebrate the important place that they hold in the hearts and lives of Australians.
Clean Up Australia Day
Clean Up Australia inspires and empowers communities to clean up, fix up and conserve our environment.
World Environment Day
Queanbeyan Palerang Regional Council regularly holds events on World Environment Day which Queanbeyan Landcare supports and promotes.
